So, I’m watching WarGames in a theater tonight…
...and this happens. I think this is irony... what was awesome was seeing all the cell phones whip out and take this shot. I mean, who else would be in the 25th anniversary special theater screening of WarGames if not a roomful of people to whom this would be hilarious? We got free no-restrictions passes to any movie, and they did fix it so we got to finish WarGames.
Testing the iPhone WordPress client
Well, it's not WYSIWYG, but it's not too bad for a quick blog post. It'll be great for posting photos from the phone.
iPhone 2.0 update!
I've updated the iPhone to the 2.0 firmware - I'm currently raiding the new app store for all it's free content. Whee!
UPDATE: I'd love to get the Remote app working, but it seems to not work for me. I can't figure out if it's Vista or my network configuration that's causing problems.
Also, my battery is being sucked away like never before. I'm not sure if I've been playing with the new apps too much or if it's the new firmware or what, but my battery is almost dead.

- House of M: Uncanny X-Men
- House of M: New X-Men – Academy X
- House of M: Spider-Man

- Decimation: X-Men – The Day After
- Decimation: Generation M
- Decimation: Son of M
- Decimation: Sentinel Squad O*N*E
- Decimation: X-Men – The 198
- George R. R. Martin’s The Hedge Knight

ALL of these were $5 each… nice.
I also picked up Light Children: The Invalid Book One. It’s a self-published work, and it’s wonderful. I’d love to see these guys succeed, so go pick up a copy at the website.
Gary Gygax is dead
Gary Gygax, beloved by geeks everywhere, died yesterday. For those who don't know who he is, follow the link - Gary was recognized widely as the father of tabletop roleplaying. I know he wasn't the only one sitting around developing the rule set that would one day become D&D, but his is certainly the name that stuck to it so prominently. RIP, Gary...
Update: Ars Technica has a great eulogy to Gary.
