I love fortune cookies. Well, that’s not really true… the cookies are often nasty and old. I like the fortunes inside, though. Here I’ll share some of my fortunes and my interpretation thereof.
A cheerful letter or message is on it’s way to you.
Hmmm…. it says nothing about who is cheerful, only that the message is cheerful. I expect to be receiving an e-mail from one of my friends soon telling me they’ve won a ton of money.
You deserve respect and will eventually get it.
Let me finish that one: “… because you obviously don’t have it now.”
You long to see the great pyramids of Egypt
Wow. Is that a fortune? Good to know that I at least WANT to go to Egypt. I just wish it would have told me if I would get there.
There’s still time to change the path you’re on
And if there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now… it’s just the spring clean for the May Queen. Seriously… that’s kinda ominous when you think about it.
